Building community and nurturing the environment at our thriving park in the heart of Penarth.
Get InvolvedFriends of Belle Vue Park Penarth is a registered charity dedicated to enhancing Belle Vue Park as a vibrant community hub in Penarth, Wales. Since 2000, our volunteer-led group has worked to support this historic green space, fostering community spirit through inclusive events and conservation efforts. We strive to keep the park a welcoming destination for families, nature enthusiasts, and residents, celebrating its natural beauty while increasing social connections.
We host a variety of annual events to bring the community together, including the Music in the Park festival with live performances and family-friendly activities, craft events at Easter and Christmas, community pumpkin carving, and a chess club to engage all ages. Other initiatives, like the Big Garden Birdwatch and gardening sessions, highlight the park’s charm and encourage outdoor participation. Check out our upcoming events, or follow us on Facebook
Our work thrives on community involvement. Supported by a dedicated committee, we rely on volunteers for event planning and park maintenance. We invite everyone to join us—whether by attending events, sharing ideas or volunteering—to help at one of our events.
It will be a fun and friendly event for the whole community to get together to celebrate locally-grown delicious fruit. There will also be apple tasting, a fruity quiz, apple-y crafts and games, refreshments and sweet treats.
